I know you’re excited for the free cushion mockup, but first, just take a moment to look out of the window. There is something so magical about this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere. It feels like all of nature is preparing to rest, tucking itself under a nice cosy blanket ready to enjoy the slow and quiet things in life. It really is my favourite time of year. I do love a crisp, dewy autumn morning, walking through the fields, watching the dogs puff out their misty breath as they chase each other in the early sun. The cosy boots and warm snuggly jumpers certainly help too!

I decided to snap some photos of a few little finds that inspired me or made me smile and then share them with you in the form of colour palettes. These were all things I spotted on a walk around the roads in the town where I live. It never ceases to amaze me how the prettiest things are there waiting to be seen if you take a moment to seek them out!

I am also sharing a free cushion mockup with you, just because I was so in love with the photo by Julia Peretiatko and her beautiful scene was too good to keep to myself after I used it to mockup a pattern I had recently made! Subscribers can find the mockup in the Freebie Library. A note on using the mockup: it is best suited to lighter fabric designs like the one shown here.

I hope you are inspired by the warm fuzzies in these photos as much as I was! Have fun and stay creative!
