This week we are learning to make a trading floral pattern in Procreate with this free trailing floral pattern template. In case you don’t know what a trailing floral pattern is, it’s a design where the stems or branches in the pattern continue off the edges of the canvas. That can be quite tricky to do if you are using a normal grid repeat, but with a diamond repeat in procreate, it’s actually easier than you might think. You get to see the edges of the repeat and we can line them up exactly! It’s even easier with the free template that I’ve made for you! You don’t have to plan ahead where the lines will go; just trace over the template and add your own leaves and flowers in! Be sure to watch until the end as the final layers need lining up slightly different for this pattern compared to my normal tutorials!
