Here’s some more print on demand tips for surface pattern designers! I’ve shared a similar tip to this before about redrawing a motif from your pattern to apply to your print on demand t shirts. But what if your pattern isn’t really suited to being redrawn as a motif? Well, why not create a simple shape and apply your pattern to that? Something simple like a heart, flower, star or even something quirky like an “&” symbol could make cool prints for a t shirt with your pattern over the top of them! Why not give it a try? Anything is better than going with the default square/rectangle of pattern tile or leaving it out altogether!
